Arrowhead Ranch Rocket Camp

Build, decorate and launch a model rocket during a two-day camp at Arrowhead Ranch. Learn basic principles of model rocketry. Students will keep their rocket at the end of camp (note: there is always the chance a rocket will end up in a tree).

Learning Goals: Students in the Arrowhead Ranch Rocket Camp will build a model rocket from a kit on Saturday, and launch their rocket on Sunday. In the process they will learn the basics of rocket science - model rocket components and their purpose, principles of aerodynamics, propulsion, and some of the physics of rocketry.

Arrowhead Ranch is partnering with DINO, a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County program, for this event! Youth aged 10-15 can register for FREE through DINO!

Here is how it works -

1. Do you live in Island County? If so this program is for you.

2. Register for DINO - https://bbbs.tfaforms.net/4844671

3. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to sign up for any upcoming DINO activity including Rocket Camp! No other forms to fill out or hoops to jump through!
