Windermere Stanwood Camano Island Soap Box Derby

This Father’s Day weekend tradition, held June 20 at Arrowhead Ranch on Camano Island, brings together young racers ages 7 to 17 who spend weeks building gravity-powered cars alongside dedicated mentors. Last year’s event was recognized as the largest Soap Box Derby race in the world, and this year’s promises to be a high-energy, family-friendly day that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and community spirit as racers speed down the hill in pursuit of derby glory.
