Discovery

In 2024, Adelaide discovered the youth archery clinics at Arrowhead Ranch, a program led by Stephanie Evans, a passionate and skilled archery coach on Camano Island. From the moment she stepped onto the range at youth camp, Adelaide was captivated by the sport. The timing was perfect—she had found her passion just as new opportunities for young archers were opening up. No one could have predicted how far this young archer would soar.

On the Road

Adelaide’s first competition came at the Archery World Classic in Lacey, Washington, where Adelaide faced a nail-biting shootoff that came down to the final arrow. With steady nerves and unwavering focus, she claimed first place in her division. Her prize—a gleaming champion belt buckle—now hangs proudly from the belt of her quiver, a symbol of her determination and skill. Soon after, Adelaide began traveling to regional and state tournaments, and even earned a spot at The Vegas Shoot, the world’s largest and most prestigious indoor archery event, where she placed 8th in her division.

Opening Doors

Archery had always been a casual family pastime, but the facilities at Arrowhead Ranch opened new doors for Adelaide and her family. The sport itself is extraordinary—demanding confidence, discipline, patience, and peak performance under pressure. Each time Adelaide steps up to the shooting line, she demonstrates not only technical precision but also the mental strength that defines a true competitor.

Family & Friends

Beyond the medals and tournaments, archery has become a source of joy and connection for Adelaide and her family. It’s more than hitting the target; it’s about shared experiences, laughter, and quiet moments of encouragement. Along the way, Adelaide has also found new friends who share her passion—teammates who cheer her on, celebrate victories, and make every practice and competition more meaningful. The hours spent practicing and traveling together have strengthened their bonds in ways few other activities could.

Dream Big

Today, archery is a cherished multi-generational passion for Adelaide—a pursuit that challenges her, inspires her, and brings people closer. From that first youth camp at Arrowhead Ranch to competing on the world stage in Las Vegas, her journey proves that sometimes, one arrow can change everything.
